interpreters, ITP and ASL teachers and students from 6:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.  Thursday and Friday evenings will have additional classes.  Interpreters will be able to obtain  3.5 RID CEUs.   We are also having a free Sunday morning post-conference program for registered participants for four hours with RID CEUs applied for (Christian religious-focused and secular focused -- three choices).
This will be a TOTALLY SILENT weekend ... the no-talking rule begins when you arrive for registration (paper and pencils will be provided for fledgings and beginners), continue through the pre-conference workshop on Thursday until the close of the post-conference classes noon Sunday.  The only exception will be during the 7 p.m. orientation where we will have interpreters to voice for you. and at the planned voicing and music workshops.
A separate event ... ASL Improv ... is scheduled to be offered Saturday night.  This is not a part of the Silent Weekend and must be registered either online at www.ASLimprov.com or on site at Blue Moon exhibit table.
This may be the only professional conference for interpreters with many classes for family members who may want to learn ASL (over 180 hours offered).   Treat your family to an Orlando vacation!  Did you know that we already have dates set through the year 2020 to help you plan your future training?
